The Cuff Road Project (TCRP) – Volunteer Thank You Dinner

Every weekday morning and evening, volunteers arrive in Little India to welcome homeless and jobless migrant workers to The Cuff Road Project. They register the men for free meals and when possible assist them with their cases. To show our gratitude, we’ve organised a thank you dinner on 1 July at el toro!

Japan Reaffirms Political Will For MDGs Post-Tsunami

Japan has promised to meet its overseas aid commitments, despite previous moves to cut funding following the March earthquake and tsunami. Prime Minister Naoto Kan’s new pledge is a victory for civil society campaigners who have been calling for Tokyo to reinstate aid that had been cut.
