Join us on Saturday 19 November for the Golden Poo Awards, a comedy evening on World Toilet Day organised in collaboration with the World Toilet Organisation to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis.

This week’s newsletter is a good snapshot of a fortnight in the life of ONE (SINGAPORE): it’s a mix of awareness-raising, activism and concrete actions, both here at home and overseas. Together with our supporters, we purchased A LOT of groceries for a local soup kitchen (which feeds a surprising number of people in need), funded a nutrition programme for refugee children and directed a letter to the Commonwealth calling for action on the Millennium Development Goals. Every ONE Can- The numbers are in!

Light rain did not dampen the giving spirit of our patrons. Every ONE Can 2011 was a great success for everyone who attended and participated in the event on 29 October. We filled a whole truckload with groceries for Willing Hearts and supported several social enterprises at the same time.
