2011 – Year of the Woman!

2011 was a remarkable year for women’s rights. For the first time, women were appointed to the top posts at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Three outstanding women were also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Not only that, the new Chief Prosecutor of the ICC is also an Ambassador for the Global Call to Action Against Poverty.
