PROMOTE THE ONLINE ACTION
Guinness World Records approved this year the Stand Up Online Widget for the first time. Because it is new to all of us, this document helps you to get the widget on your page.
If you can’t join a “Stand Up” event in person, you can participate virtually from October 16 – 18, 2009 using the online widget. Tell your partners and friends to put the widget on their website.

Partners, companies, friends: Simply everybody with a website can create his own widget and start an online action by going to the website and clicking register—just like you would for any other event. Once you verify your email, just check the box that says “…Online event” in Step One of the Event registration process. At the end of the registration, you’ll get an embed code to use on your website. That’s it!
