ONE (SINGAPORE) would like to express our utmost gratitude to the crew involved in the production of the CLICK Video Singapore version.

They were really amazing in the way they adopted the project and bent over backwards to accomodate our requirements.

Rated E Features Celebrity Interview

It was a coincidence that I manage to record a rerun of the show “Rated E” and perhaps a blessing indeed. After some conversion from analogue to digital and in a more manageable size, we are releasing the snippet here for all to see.

It is really heart-warming when we have the star power of Allan Wu, Tan Kheng Hua and Wong Lilin taking the stand with us and one by one, we are indeed, making a ripple in the sea of change. We are making history.

CLICK! We Are Making History

One of the major inspiration behind the ONE (SINGAPORE) organisation is the CLICK video found originally at ONE.ORG and MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY.ORG. It touched our heart as it did the world. We wanted to do something about “one child dies every three seconds”. We wanted to make a difference in Making Poverty History.

The idea to produce our very own CLICK Video was raised in late 2005 and we had problems finding individuals commited enough to lead the project. Until Zubi came on board as a Commitee Member and ran with the idea.

Zubi got Fly Entertainment to adopt the project a couple of months ago and the rest is history. Video production was sponsored by The Shooting Gallery Asia and currently in post production status (undertaken by Infinite Frameworks and AMX Audiophiles).

Tonight, the idea of the Singapore version of the CLICK Video was featured for the first time on local TV (Channel 5) at 9pm on a new entertainment show called “Rated: E”. Celebrities that were involved in the shoot were interviewed (Tan Kheng Hua, Allan Wu, Wong Lilin, etc.).

Even though there were no mention of ONE (SINGAPORE), I couldn’t help but feel like a proud father seeing my child taking the very first step and the world is watching. I wanted to raise a Singapore voice in the call to action against poverty. It looks like that voice is coming out nicely.

To all those involved in the project, I thank you from the bottom of my heart in helping me make history: Make Poverty History.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

Attached please find a tentative production and post-production schedule. We have already had 3 shoots. The celebrities who have already been filmed are:

30/6 - Cynthia Koh & Irene Ang
10/7 - Jaime Teo, Daniel Ong, Beatrice Chia, Tan Kheng Hua & Najip Ali
11/7 - Allan Wu & Wong Lilin

A final shoot is scheduled for Monday afternoon 17 July. Note that currently we are scheduled to finish editing before the end of July.

There are two issues that may delay this by a a couple weeks:

1. the travel schedule of the President of ONE (SINGAPORE).
2. the delivery of CLICK tapes from London with int’l celebrities (to mix in with the local ones).

The video is currently in post-production.
