ONE (SINGAPORE)’s Corporate Adoption Programme matches companies with organisations working to assist and empower impoverished communities. If you work at a company that’s keen to put its CSR muscle to work, ONE (SINGAPORE) can help you find the right project, whether it be distributing mosquito nets to fight malaria, providing primary school students with a nutritious glass of milk each day or assisting our local neighbors in need.
We target groups that don’t usually have a large amount of exposure or constant resources, so your support has an immediate impact. And the awareness that such an adoption brings to the beneficiary is priceless. Corporate partners support a beneficiary through fundraising events, in-kind donations, volunteering and awareness-building activities. After the adoption period, the adopter will be presented with new options of beneficiaries, so the cycle of awareness and concrete action continues. The adoption period is for a minimum of one year and can be extended longer. ONE (SINGAPORE) can assist you during this time with a range of fundraising ideas, volunteer recruitment and strategic & logistical advice.
Projects are generally aligned with a Millennium Development Goal and certified partners receive a ONE (SINGAPORE) stamp – like the one at the top of this page – indicating which MDG they are supporting.
