A man with polio looks after his 69-year old mother. A widow with two boys works two part-time jobs but earns less than S$1000 a month. A mother of three, recovering from cancer, recently lost her job. A family of five lives in with their grandparents, because they can not afford a home of their own.

These are just a few of the people who have been nominated by grassroots and non-profit organisations to take part in Radio Gives Back, an initiative by MediaCorp Radio in partnership with ONE (SINGAPORE).

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of radio, MCR will provide food and other assistance to 75 families for a year.
